Latin Name: Bos primigenius

Habitat: Captive bred on Agricultural holdings.

Diet: Grass, hay, silage and concentrate feed.

Lifespan: Up to 25 years

Average Size: Weight: Up to 1,000 kg, Height: Up to 150 cm

Characteristics:

The English Longhorn is a beef breed originating from Craven in the North of England.  They have a white patch along the line of their spine and under their belly, with a distinctive brown and white coloured coat.  They have curved horns that tend to grow down around the face.

Fact: The Texan Longhorn comes in a variety of colours with its long horns curved upwards away from their face.
