Characteristics:

Connemara Ponies are known for their athleticism, versatility and good disposition making them excellent show ponies.  They have a strong back, loins and hind quarters with a well placed neck and clearly defined cheekbones. They come in a variety of colours but mostly commonly grey, grey brown or dun.  They are known for their gentle, trusting and honest temperament and are recognised the world over as excellent riding ponies.
